Baudelaire 2 in 1 Oil Absorbing Primer + Mask Product Review

Hello lovelies! We all know that there are different seasons and situations that effect how our skin behaves. I have never been prone to extremely oily skin, but I have the T-zone issue, which worsens with hormones, stress and certain foods.

Baudelaire 2 in 1 Oil Absorbing Primer + Mask ($18.00 USD 1.7 oz) is supposed to absorb access facial oils, when used as a primer and control oil prone skin when integrated into a skincare routine as a mask.

How To Use:

Primer - Apply Baudelaire over the areas of your face prone to excess oil, just as you would with any primer.

Mask - After cleansing your skin, apply Baudelaire and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

I’m rather careful with my skin and am prone to dry skin issues in the winter so I chose to forgo a mask treatment. I enlisted one of my male housemates who is prone to oily skin to test out the mask. He followed the directions and his feedback was this, “My skin feels itchy and dry. This stuff s****.” The Makeup Examiner can’t print the rest of what he had to say, but you get the gist.

Over the weekend I attended a holiday party, which seems to be yet another trigger for keeping oily skin at bay because alcohol tends to make my skin oily. Drinking adult beverages, in conjunction with a lot of socializing and I’m usually running to the powder room for constant touchups.

As for the primer test, I applied Baudelaire 2 in 1 Oil Absorbing Primer + Mask and followed up with foundation and finishing powder. Unfortunately dear readers, this product did not work for me as a primer and I found myself spending too much time on touchups during the party. Baudelaire 2 in 1 Oil Absorbing Primer + Mask is not a product that I would recommend, period.
