Waxelene announces new squeeze tube

Waxelene, the amazing petroleum jelly alternative, announced on April 30 that the product it is now being offered in squeeze tubes. This new portable packaging is being rolled out just in time for spring and will make for a major convenience when we’re out and about during warmer weather activities.

Why the squeeze tube? “One request we constantly receive is for squeeze tubes,” said Todd Cooper, CEO of Waxelene. So if you’ve ever wondered whether companies ever really listen to their customers, the answer is yes! For the squeeze tube endeavor, Waxelene partnered with Whole Foods via the Local Producer Loan Program. “Offering new packaging requires an investment which can be difficult for a small company like ours to fund. We are very grateful to Whole Foods,” said Cooper.

What can you do with Waxelene? Waxelene can be used anywhere that you use petroleum jelly. With ingredients of vitamin E oil, beeswax, organic rosemary oil, and organic soy oil, you can treat whatever’s dry. The Makeup Examiner uses Waxelene as lip balm and to treat extremely dry areas such as the bottom of my feet.

The new and convenient packaging will be available exclusively at Whole Foods in 2013. The tubes weigh just over ¾ of an ounce, feature a flip top lid, and will retail for $4.99. In keeping with Waxelene’s commitment to the environment, the tubes are 100% recyclable.
