How to get sexy legs for summer

Happy Friday lovelies! The warm weather has finally arrived! So it’s time to get those gams ready for shorts and bikini season. How to get your legs looking summer sexy and beach ready can sometimes be a challenge, especially since you’ve probably been hiding them in slacks or jeans for months. Fortunately there are a few options to get those legs looking fabulous!

The Makeup Examiner can acknowledge that some women don’t bother to shave during the colder months, I’ve never understood this one but who am I to judge? Whether you’ve been forgoing hair removal or are looking for easier options, The Makeup Examiner has found two new and amazing products from Remington. Smooth & Silky Body & Bikini Grooming Kit ($24.99) is a five piece grooming set for legs and bikini area that can be used in and out of the shower. If you prefer to be one and done with the hair removal process, Smooth & Silky Electric Roll-On Wax Kit ($24.99) is a great option. This easy-to-use at home waxing kit will leave your legs and bikini area hair-free for up to six weeks. And the last (but not least) option, which is great for when you’re in a rush, is Gillette’s Venus Razor ($9). Okay, now that we’ve gone over a few options for hair removal let’s cover … err … uncover how to get your legs ready for summer! Checkout the gallery/list for the buzz on Summer Sexy Legs!

Hair Removal
The Makeup Examiner has reviewed a few options for hair removal and this is the first place to begin when getting our legs sexy for summer. Check out Remington’s Smooth & Silky Body & Bikini Grooming Kit, Smooth & Silky Electric Roll-On Wax Kit or Gillette’s Venus & Olay Razor. If you opt for shaving don’t forgo the shaving cream. Try Skintimate SkinTherapy Moisturizing Shave Gel ($4) for a super smooth and moisturized shave.

Exfoliate
Dry skin accumulates in the winter months so exfoliating is key to get those gams ready for summer. The Makeup Examiner’s go to scrub is St. Ives Apricot Scrub ($4). Begin by gently brushing dry skin off your legs with a loofah. While showering, apply the scrub your and work in a circular motion. Rinse with lukewarm water and work back to cool.

Moisturize
Although it may seem counterproductive, while exfoliating gets rids of dead skin cells it also dries the skin so moisturizing after you exfoliate is a must. For the best looking legs, moisturize in the morning or after your shower and at bedtime. C. Booth Honey & Almond Body Butter ($6.99) is a TME favorite.

Eliminate Cellulite
No matter how much you exercise, some people are simply prone to cellulite. There are several great products on the market, but one The Makeup Examiner has found to really work is Vichy CelluDestock Intensive Treatment ($39.50). Formulated with pure caffeine, CelluDestock reduces the appearance of cellulite and gives immediate results, making skin looked toned. Apply on skin from knees on up, twice a day for the best results.

Add A Little Color
Even toned legs look sexier with a little color and for those without perfectly toned legs, color enhances hoe they look. The Makeup Examiner is not one for tanning, so I opt for a sunless tan and Colour Couture has the best sun-free tanning products that I’ve found. You find tips and check out Colour Couture in TME’s article, “Tanning tips from Hollywood’s sunless tanning expert, Monica Blanco”.
