Carrie Fisher ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Premiere Get The Look

The Los Angeles premiere of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” took place last night, Monday Dec. 14 and stars from the original series including Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher joined newcomers including John Boyega and Daisy Ridley. There were plenty of other celebs in attendance including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who turned up in green face paint and Yoda ears – we are working to acquire Joseph’s “Get The Look”. :) But for now, hopefully TME readers will be pleased with the stunning and timeless look for Carrie Fisher.

“Today is the largest film release and red carpet in Los Angeles. I wanted to create a look that is iconic but accessible. It’s believable beauty; a look that enhances but still has a unique glow,” Celebrity Makeup Artist Jeffrey Paul

Carrie Fisher Get The Look:

SKIN PREP:
  • To prep the skin, I used Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE Anti-Aging + Intensive Repair Daily Serum for a smooth, hydrated canvas

COMPLEXION:
  • To create a dewy glow, I mixed a drop of Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE Anti-Aging Moisture Cream with Flawless Finish Sponge–On Cream Makeup in Perfect Beige and applied it to her whole face, working outwards.
  • Cheeks are contoured and flushed with Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Radiance Blush in Terrarose.

EYES:
  • I used the same foundation to prime her eyelids. I started with Beautiful Color Eyeshadow in Blonde as a base and layered Beautiful Color Eyeshadow Duo in Café Au Lait in the crease for an ombré effect.
  • To play off of her eye color, I used Beautiful Color Smoky Eyes Pencil in Midnight along the lash line. Next, I applied two coats of Beautiful Color Lash Enhancing Mascara in Black for definition.

LIPS:
  • I chose two lip liners to help ensure lasting color throughout the night. Starting at the cupid’s bow, I filled in lips with Beautiful Color Precision Glide Liner in Bare to add fullness, and then I lined the lips again with liner in Plum Wine to contour and define.
  • To finish, I dabbed on Beautiful Color Moisturizing Matte Lipstick in Raspberry for a gorgeous pop of color.

The long-awaited sequel to Star Wars hits theaters on Dec. 18 and we are super excited! As for Carrie’s look, all products are available at Elizabeth Arden.
