Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster Review

Elizabeth Arden launched its SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster Fall 2016 and with these types of products, we tend to take our time when gauging the efficacy. Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster is one of a growing number of products on the market that’s aimed to boost our skin’s ability to defend and repair itself. It’s a great concept, but not a new one and that’s perfectly fine. We’ve reviewed a lot of skin care products over the years and as the years have passed, we’ve become fair more particular about what we put on our faces.

SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster is a sheer, water-based formula that’s suitable for all skin types -- including acne-prone skin. The product is housed in an insanely well-designed and attractive glossy pump bottle that neatly dispenses the product. SUPERSTART is packed with skin-loving ingredients like caprylic/capric triglyceride, oligosaccharides, ceramides, and cholesterol -- all of which are excellent for repairing and replenishing the skin. Good stuff in our book, but for some there is a serious downside.

SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster contains fragrance. So many people have had a lot of negative things to say about the fragrance and we get it. Not everyone wants scented skin care and fragrance can be an irritant to sensitive skin. This actually wasn’t a deal breaker for us. While many here at TME prefer fresh and natural scents in our skin care, the SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster only seemed to bother one of us.

Our opinion of Elizabeth Arden's SUPERSTAR Skin Renewal Booster ($95 – 1.7 FL. OZ.): It’s a sheer and lightweight booster that layers very well with other products and contains ingredients that are perfect for barrier and repair. The packaging is superior, as its design ensures a containment free product, plus the packaging looks good.

Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster is available online at Elizabeth Arden and select retail locations around the globe.
