Got To Do The Pre-Holiday Pamper

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and the most stressful! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is less then a week away?!? While there’s no doubt that we love everything about the season -- from the preparation of an amazing Thanksgiving dinner to the last drop of champagne on NYE -- it can do some damage to our hair and skin … and psyche. So, you gotta walk in with a game plan and that starts with a little “me” time … long before Auntie Mabel asks you (for the 1000th time) when you’re getting married!

Team TME has found a few products that are absolutely fabulous to help you relax, as well as keeping you looking great throughout the Holidaze. It starts with the NEW Age Prevention Superfood Mask ($44) from Youth To The People. Formulated with Spirulina, Bioactive Microalgae and Hyaluronic Acid (plus kale & spinach!), these superhero ingredients protect from free radical damage while nourishing your skin for a healthy, youthful glow. 10 minutes is all you need to see gorgeous results and to feel better!

If you have time … scratch that … make time for a super relaxing bath. Amelie et Melanie Linge Blanc Bath Salts ($45) are luxurious and fragrant bath salts in a beautiful decorative bottle for a relaxing bathing experience. Linge Blanc has a fresh crisp fragrance and is a TME favorite. These salts are pure mineral sea salt, made in France, and provide a moment of true relaxation.

Rounding out this week’s segment for taking care of you are a few products from Harklinikken Hair. We know that throughout the holiday’s we’re going to do a little more damage than usual to our locks and two products from Harklinikken have turned out to be absolute hair saviors!

Formulated with naturally nourishing and cleansing ingredients including extracts from organic oats and mustard seeds, Harklinikken’s pH Shampoo ($54) helps restore balance to your scalp, perfect for combating Holiday season itchiness and irritation. Pro-Tip from Harklinikken Founder Lars Skjoth: “Alternate between rubbing the formula in and massaging your scalp for at least 30 seconds before washing out to ensure maximum penetration.”

For the ultimate moisturizing treatment, try Harklinikken’s Hair Hydrating Mask ($56) to help quench and revive dry, over-styled hair -- it’s chock-full of good-for-hair ingredients including quinoa, flax seeds, olive oil, avocado oil, and flower extracts. Pro-Tip from Harklinikken Founder Lars Skjoth: “To get the most out of this mask, try applying it at night, before going to bed. Just dampen the hair slightly and add a generous amount to your hair. Rinse out in the morning. For an additional boost of nourishment, put some on your ends once your hair is dry.”

We hope that you have the happiest holiday season and check back each week for more tips and tricks for surviving the season … beautifully!
