Celebrate National Fragrance Day


Stating the obvious for all those experiencing the nor’easter -- day two of Spring 2018 and day two of SNOW! However, it is also National Fragrance Day and we can at least try to escape the lingering wintery weather with a few uplifting fragrances … oh, and some hot chocolate -- read on for our awesome recipe! 




The Classic Woman:

Hot Chocolate For When It Snows On The First and Second Day of Spring Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash of salt (optional)

Method:
Pour milk into to pan at medium heat. Add cocoa powder and whisk to incorporate into milk. Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla. Stir until all ingredients are incorporated. Add vanilla and salt. Keep heating until liquid begins to steam up slightly. Serve and enjoy!
