MAC Cosmetics Spring/Summer 2013 at NYFW

Backstage, instore, online … everywhere you look MAC Cosmetics seems to be the “it” brand this season. Each year, MAC Cosmetics participates in 23 Fashion Weeks and approximately 850 shows around the world. And MAC shows no signs of slowing down their stratospheric success. Beginning September 5th, MAC’s army of 300 International makeup artists will descend upon New York City for New York Fashion Week (NYFW).

What makes MAC Cosmetics participation at NYFW super important to watch is that this is where new products are put to the test. Makeup artists rely on the newest and most advanced products available when working backstage and this gives the professionals the best opportunity to test-drive MAC's very latest product prototypes.

If the texture, color, application or finish isn’t up to scratch, artists let MAC's Product Development team know what needs tweaking. The end result is the perfect formula for eyes, lips, cheeks and brows that works equally in the hands of a professional makeup artist and the regular customer. For Spring/Summer 2013, MAC plans to test several new products, including a new moisturizing lipstick, a brow gel and pencil, new moisturizers and a palette of what's predicted to be the season's hottest lip and eye shadow hues.
