Hello lovelies! TGIF … and another product review for the guys! The Makeup Examiner did a review of The Art of Shaving not too long ago, and the gentlemen readers seemed to really appreciate a nod to their grooming needs. So with that in mind, I’ll be bringing reviews to the men folk throughout 2013.

Without further ado, let’s get to the EVOLUTIOMAN products! Obviously, I couldn’t write a review about fabulous men’s grooming products without enlisting my fabulous male housemates. EVOLUTIOMAN sent TME, Wash & Buff ($19), Cleanse & Shave ($20), Moisture Protect SPF 20 ($25), Revitalize Eye Gel ($28) and Conceal & Treat ($21). A few important things to note about EVOLUTIOMAN and their products; all items are packaged in post-consumer recycled materials, cruelty-free, paraben-free and non-GMO.

Each of the EVOLUTIOMAN products were essentially fragrance free, which was the first bonus for my housemates, as one dislikes any men’s fragrance beyond the scent of his deodorant and the other has a specific cologne that he (his girlfriend) likes. Both guys began the regime with Wash & Buff and both reported that it left their faces feeling clean. They moved onto Cleanse & Shave and said that it was decent to give a close shave. They guys are just beginning to understand the importance of moisturizing and protecting their skin so it was fairly easy to have them use Moisture Protect SPF 20 for which they both said was light on their skin.

Moving on to the last part of EVOLUTIOMAN’s revolutionary skincare regime, the guys both liked the cooling effect of Revitalize Eye Gel and since I can’t find it, I’m fairly positive that one of them has it in their manscape bag. The only product from EVOLUTIOMAN that received a lukewarm response was Conceal & Treat. This was surprising to me since my housemates are so over any misconceptions about “girly” type stuff. $10 says that come date night, they’ll be bugging me for the Conceal & Treat! EVOLUTIOMAN products are available at EVOLUTIOMAN and at select retail locations
