MAC Cosmetics Announces 2016 Viva Glam Spokesperson

MAC Cosmetics announced on Oct. 27, its 2016 Viva Glam spokesperson, and with the lineup of celebs that have been the face of the annual campaign since it launched in 1994 -- everyone from Madonna to Mary J. and Sir Elton to Ricky Martin -- this celeb is hardly a surprise.

Remaining in line with Viva Glam’s tradition, MAC Cosmetics selected Ariana Grande to front the 2016 campaign. The pint-size pop star follows a myriad of energetic and controversial celebs -- including Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Fergie, Christina Aguilera and Nicki Minaj, in promoting the brand’s program that benefits the MAC AIDS Fund.

Ariana’s Shades for the Campaign are all about duality. Good girl? Bad girl? Glam girl? Ask #VIVAGLAM Ariana Grande! Go deep dark in her matte plum Lipstick, or good, in shimmering pink Lipglass. Paint the town GLAM!

The M·A·C AIDS Fund (MAF) serves people of All Ages, All Races, All Sexes affected by HIV and AIDS. MAF funds innovative programs that deal directly with the most marginalized, stigmatized and under-heard victims. Every single proceed from the #VIVAGLAM Ariana Grande campaign goes toward helping men, women, and children who are living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. #VIVAGLAM Ariana Grande will be available in-store January 2016!
