Valentines Day Beauty Tips From The Experts

We at TME are freaking out because we’ve got Valentine’s Day beauty tips from our favorite top celebrity beauty experts -- from Celebrity Stylist Charles Baker Strahan to Celebrity Stylist Sarah Potempa and our beloved Clairol Color Director James Corbett to Dr. Jody Levine! We have everything that you will need to look, and feel, amazing no matter what you’re doing for Valentine’s Day… or night… whether you’re doing a romantic night in, a big night out or prowling with the girls!

Romantic Night In:

“You don’t need to go crazy with styling your hair, but it should definitely look and feel soft, nourished and hydrated. Try using a treatment such as the Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Intensive Treatment to give your hair an extra bit of love to make your strands touchable for [the love of your life]!” -Celebrity Stylist and Herbal Essences Brand Ambassador, Charles Baker Strahan

Big Night Out:

Charles Baker Strahan says it’s all about the curls! “There’s nothing more fun than voluminous curls for a big night out”. Whether you’re enhancing your natural curls or giving your straight hair a twist, here’s how to get sexy 'ringlets'".

  • After stepping out of the shower, use a mousse like Herbal Essences Naked Volumizing Soufflé. Mousse has a function, which allows hair to dry in a somewhat stationary position. When hair isn't jostled around in the drying process it is less likely to produce frizz
  • Use a diffuser! People with straight hair that doesn't “hold a curl” often blow their hair out with a brush and a blow dryer, making the hair straight and less likely to curl... stop doing this! Allowing the hair to dry in a basket diffuser with the high heat setting and low wind speed allows your mousse to force out the excess moisture and maintain any and all natural body or movement in the hair
  • If you have hair that is hard to curl you should do a set. You can use your curling iron to heat the hair and place the curl wherever you'd like but then use a roller clip to hold the curl in position while it cools

Celebrity Stylist and Aussie Brand Ambassador, Sarah Potempa also suggests curls for a night out, but Sarah’s take is all about that sexy polished wave look! “Polished Waves with a red lip combo is probably my favorite look for a big night out,” shared Sarah.

Polished Waves How-To:

  • To achieve this classically beautiful look, start off by curling your hair in the same direction
  • For a more retro look, curl your hair in towards your face. After you curl, spray a nylon/boar bristle brush with a flexible hairspray, like Aussie Sprunch Hairspray and fully brush out the curls. Doing so will bring all of your waves together and create a smooth, long-lasting style
  • To give the ultimate frizz-free finish, apply Aussie Miraculously Smooth Anti-Frizz Cream starting from the ends and working up into the roots

Girls Night Out:

Clairol Color Director (and TME <3) James Corbett offers these top-notch color tips for GNO!
  • This winter, special occasion hair is all about textured looks! On top of styling and cut, hair color can make a big difference when creating texture.
  • Use Nice ‘n Easy’s Hair painting Kit to paint in some lighter strands around your face; this will give hair a multi-dimensional look. Nice ‘n Easy’s Hairpainting Kit is easy to use at home, and works on all hair colors.
  • After coloring, ditch the blow dryer, and style hair in natural looking waves. Your new look will be effortlessly chic. (Perfect for a romantic date or Girls Night Out!)

Sarah Potempa offers: “For a girls night out, a dry shampoo such as the new Aussie Total Miracle 7N1 Dry Shampoo, is great to keep in your bag or desk at work for an instant touchup from day to night. Not only does it help to absorb excess oil and refresh your style, but also gives your hair a bit of texture if you want to pull your hair into a high ponytail or fun braid.”

We love the suggestions from our favorite celeb experts and you can find more beauty tips in TME’s CoverGirl section! Since we’re smack in the middle of winter, we thought it’d be a good time to check in again with Dermatologist Dr. Jody Levine and get the best skincare tips for Valentine’s Day … and the rest of the winter season!

Winter Skin Care and Prep – Courtesy of Venus Dermatologist Dr. Jody Levine:

Hair removal in the winter:

  • Many women skip shaving during the winter months. The trick to removing an abundance of hair is making sure you follow the right steps.
  • First, I recommend hydrating your hair with warm water and waiting two to three minutes from when you step into the shower before shaving. This will make the hair softer and easier to [remove].
  • Next, be sure to apply ample amounts of moisture rich-shave gel like the new Venus & Olay Shave Gel. Incorporating a shave gel is an important step in getting a great shave. Not only does it allow your razor to glide better and easier over the skin, but it also helps lubricate the hairs – so they’re soft and stand up at attention, making them easier to cut.
  • The type of razor you use is also crucial when it comes to removing a lot of hair. Make sure you use a high quality razor, with five sharp blades – so you’re getting a smooth, ultra-close shave.
  • Finally, shave with light, gentle strokes and exert as little pressure as possible – this will help reduce your chances of skin irritation.

Ensuring the closest shave:

  • To get the closest shave use a 5-bladed razor like the new Venus Swirl, which moves like no other to cover every unique curve and contour, helping to shave those hard-to-reach places and capture hairs that other razors might miss.
  • Lather up with a shave gel like new Venus with a Touch of Olay shave gel before shaving to ensure the razor glides easily over skin. Shave gel also helps you keep track of where you’ve shaved to avoid missing any spots.

Stay hydrated: While moisturization is great, you should be properly moisturizing at the right times with the right amounts. The best way to keep your skin beautiful is by keeping it adequately hydrated. Having dry dead skin is the foundation for irritation. When skin is dry, it is compromised and compromised skin is more prone to experiencing symptoms of irritation.

  • Moisturizer is much more effective on properly exfoliated skin and shaving is actually a good gentle way to exfoliate your legs. Shaving everyday with the right razor can help exfoliate dead skin. Try using the Venus Swirl for best results.
  • Put on a light moisturizer right after you shower. This helps to rehydrate your skin with moisture that was lost from showering. Using a moisturizer that has shimmer in it can also give your legs subtle shine to highlight its natural contours.

Avoid lengthy hot showers: Lengthy hot showers can actually dry your skin. The heat from the shower makes the skin's oils soften, much as butter softens when heated. Granted, this isn't an altogether bad thing; that same oil barrier traps dirt and sweat, which leads to body odor. Still, without those oils, the moisture in your skin easily escapes, leading to dry and itchy skin. The longer and hotter the shower, the faster this process takes place and the more moisture you're likely to lose. Try to keep your showers lukewarm or shorter.

TME’s Tip: Give yourself plenty of time to get ready and relax while doing so!

How To Get Mandy Moore’s Volumized Hair For Valentine’s Day

Mandy Moore was recently seen walking the Red Carpet and, as always, looked stunning. The standout for Mandy was her insanely gorgeous and super volumized hair!! It was the perfect mix old Hollywood glam and modern sass -- which is perfect for a glamorous Valentine’s Day look!

If you want to recreate the look at home and don’t have a whole Glam Squad at your fingertips, we have found the “holy grail” of volumizing tools and this one won’t destroy you lovely locks like backcombing does! The VOLOOM ($129/ On sale for $112!) is the only hot tool specifically designed to add lasting volume. It takes seconds to use and the volume truly lasts -- without using any product! Now that all of you know what we’re using, let’s get into the how-to for Mandy’s look.

TOOLS NEEDED: VOLOOM, Heat Mat, Sectioning Comb and Clips, and a large-barrel curling iron like the Hot Tools 2" Gold Plated Salon Curling Wand ($40).

  1. Apply any styling product you typically like to use on damp hair and allow to air dry.
  2. Section a top layer of your hair on one side of your part; clip it out of the way.
  3. Take another thin section directly underneath the first section and hold it straight out from your head.
  4. Use a “clamp & release” action (similar to a crimper) for only a second of two at the root. Depending on how much volume you want, you can move the iron down the strand and clamp it again -- as long as your top layers are long enough to cover the portion you VOLOOM.
  5. Clip the section you just did away and continue to move down, creating similar sections until you reach desired amount of volume.
  6. Release clip and place top layer back over the sections you just ironed.
  7. Repeat around head.
  8. Curl ends with a large-barrel curling iron.
  9. Brush out from root to tip -- this will not only brush out any VOLOOM pattern from, but will give your curls that messy, tousled texture.

Find The Perfect Mascara

Celebrity Makeup Artist and Lead Makeup Artist for Season 16 of Project Runway, Hector Simancas, wants to help you get lucky in choosing the right MASCARA … yes, you read that correctly! Hector is currently perfecting the looks of project runways finest and can help all of us to find the perfect mascara (and how to apply it) by sharing some tips and tricks that he originated!

It’s a fact well stated by Hector, “Mascara is one of the most difficult to choose, as samples are unavailable!” Yes, if you have a BBSS sometimes you may receive a mascara but who can wait for that chance?!? Applying mascara is a key element of your overall cosmetic look and one that you don’t want to leave to chance.

What To Think About When Shopping For Mascara:
  • Sparse Lashes - Fiber creates full volume and longer lashes
  • Longwear - Waterproof, especially useful if you sweat
  • Sensitive Eyes - People with allergies should always look for a water-based mascara

The Proper (Hector) Way To Apply Mascara:
  1. First curl the lashes with a curler.
  2. Create layers on the lash by starting with very little product on the brush. Start from the root close to the eyelid to the middle, let it dry and do the other eye
  3. Add a second layer using the same technique. For the third layer you can go on the tips of the lashes.
  4. After that you can add as many layers as you want. Doing it that way helps to keep the curve of your lashes

Check back for more tips from Celebrity Makeup Hector Simancas!

Five Natural Ways To Brighten Your Smile

Happy Monday! Although in completely honesty, this particular Monday feels more like a Mondaze. Team TME enjoyed Mother’s Day with our respective families and for those on the East Coast (USA) you know how extraordinarily gorgeous the weather was yesterday, so we’re finding it a built difficult to get our heads back into the game today.  We’d much rather be lounging outside … wouldn’t you?

But alas our work is never done, as this morning what did we find in our inbox? A question from a TME reader! Liz S. of Wellington, New Zealand asks: “My teeth are gross. They look real yellow and I want to whiten them, but I don’t want to use a [whitener]. Do have any natural teeth whitening tips?”

Understandably, no one wants a yellow smile. First and foremost is good oral healthcare. Brush and floss after each meal, see your dentist regularly and for an on-the-go dental quickie we’re loving the Rolly Brush Mini Toothbrush. Moving on … let’s get to some natural teeth brightening tips!

Natural Teeth Whitening Tips:

Baking Soda and Lemon – This is probably one of the most well known natural teeth whitening solutions. And in fact, baking soda itself was once use as “toothpaste” to brush teeth. But, the mixture of baking soda and lemon juice works rather effectively to brighten teeth. As with anything, don’t over do it. Use this solution once a week as to avoid possible irritations.

Oil Pulling – Sounds gross right off doesn’t it? It’s not, and oil pulling has been around forever. Basically, oil pulling is rinsing your mouth and teeth with natural oil. Take one tablespoon of organic oil like, coconut or sesame, which you probably have in your kitchen, and swish it around in your mouth for 15-20 minutes. Thoroughly rinse your mouth out with water.

Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide – Food-grade hydrogen peroxide (FGHP) can be an effective teeth-whitening remedy. Mix a 50/50 solution using FGHP and water, and swish it around for 60 seconds.

Eat Strawberries - Strawberries can help whiten teeth because they naturally contain an enzyme called malic acid (a chemical found in teeth whitening products) and vitamin C. The astringent found in strawberries helps to remove surface stains, while vitamin C washes away plaque. Along with eating yummy strawberries, mashing up a few and brushing with the mixture once or twice a week can have positive results.

Eat Crunchy Fruits and Veggies - Apples, celery, and carrots are all great for your teeth. Crunchy fruit or vegetables act like nature’s toothbrush and they’re also super healthy snacks. Check out a super quick snack recipe for apple sandwiches!

Last, but not least. Use a Straw - Coffee, tea, and soda … those fab drinks that keep us going throughout the day…all cause stains on our teeth. So whenever possible, use a straw to reduce direct contact with your pearly whites.

Bizarre Beauty Gadgets

Cosmetology Historical Society
Perusing the Internet one will find a plethora of oddities, but one site in particular, “Japanese Trend Shop,” is a one-stop freak shop of the bizarre. Perhaps at first sight (mainly the price tag) the bizarre beauty gadgets that The Makeup Examiner has discovered may seem like a good idea, but they gadgets look painful and the creams seem dangerous. From nose clips to nipple lightening cream, oh … the lengths that some will go to serve their vanity.

Beginning with the “Hana Tsun Nose Straightener,” which claims to give you a straighter nose after wearing it for 20 minutes a day, the gadget looks rather uncomfortable to use and actually seems kind of dangerous. After slipping the clip into your nostrils, supports on either side claim to help balance and push up the bones and contours of your nose, leading to a straighter shape. The device is touted as an alternative to plastic surgery!

Any “Ally McBeal” fan who remember Elaine’s “Face Bra”? Well you too can own a face bra in the form of the “Hourei Lift Bra,” which is a band that slides over the back of your head and then the frame fits onto your nose, applying gentle pressure to your cheeks! The device promises to get rid of those nasty laugh lines and all you have to do is walk around with this rubber banded device, do a few mouth exercises and … viola … no more laugh lines.

A couple of the more humorous devices come in the form of gadgets like the “Facial Lift At Once Face Trainer” and the “Pupeko Anti-Aging Mouthpiece,” which look more like great devices to um … quiet a highly talkative person. Probably the creepiest looking device is the “Facewaver Exercise Mask”. This particular gadget, made from what looks like an ace bandage, promises to give users a more youthful and energetic look. The Makeup Examiner thinks that the “energetic look” is geared more toward any person viewing the “Facewaver Exercise Mask” as it looks more like the ace bandage version of “Hannibal Lector’s” mask!

Rounding out the oddities is “Pinky Queen Top Pack”. A cream “with a faint rose fragrance” that is guaranteed to lighten your nipples, because anal bleaching isn’t weird enough! The product is available for shipment to the US, although the instructions are in Japanese … but, no worries as the website states, “Instructions: Japanese (but easy to apply)”!

Bad beauty and The Best Store Return Policies

As a beauty writer, it’s a given that you’re going to read an abundance of information about beauty products, techniques and general beauty advice. After all, it’s The Makeup Examiner’s job to stay on top of what’s happening within the beauty industry and to keep in touch with topnotch industry insiders. In conjunction with staying in constant contact with a myriad of industry professionals, TME has her feet on the concrete, and is also always perusing the internet to check out who’s doing what.

Initially, The Makeup Examiner had intended to share with readers the specifics of bad beauty advice and dangerous information floating about online. But after learning of a makeup exchange forum, I stopped dead in my tracks. The Makeup Examiner was gobsmacked by the popularity of a forum where complete strangers were swapping, buying and selling “gently” used makeup. Let’s start with the fact that “gently” used makeup is, in fact, makeup that a complete stranger has opened and applied to their eyes/face/lips! And women are actually purchasing this? How disgusting! Think about it. Would you ask a complete stranger if you could borrow her mascara? The Makeup Examiner set out to understand why women would involve themselves in such an unsanitary practice.

After visiting the forum, The Makeup Examiner realized that there are a lot of women who purchase products that simply aren’t right for them, and further realized that there seems to be a lack of understanding for store cosmetic return policies. So, just in time for the holiday shopping season, The Makeup Examiner investigated the return/exchange policies for some of Apparel Magazine’s “Top Ten” department stores, along with a few others, and even she was surprised to learn which stores were more than accommodating and which ones have an “eat it” policy. Read on and armor yourself before you waste your money. One last piece of advice, if you know the store’s return policy and a sales clerk attempts to “bully” you, immediately ask for a manager.

CVS has a 100% satisfaction guarantee on beauty purchases. Customers can return opened products with a receipt or invoice to any CVS/pharmacy store and they will refund the full purchase price, no questions asked! CVS Customer Care: 1.888.607.4287

Rite Aid has a “100% Risk-Free Beauty Guarantee”. Any opened or used beauty product of any brand name can be returned for a full refund when accompanied by a receipt. Rite Aid Customer Support: 1.800.748.3243

Walgreens doesn’t have the best return policy. Returns for cosmetics are handled at the discretion of the store manager, meaning that they don’t automatically accept a return whether the product is opened or not and customer reimbursement is usually in the form of a Walgreens gift card. Walgreens Customer Support: 1.800.925.4733

Barneys New York gives customers 30 days to return a beauty product for a full refund. And, the product can be slightly used, which means that if you hate that $45 lipstick, back it goes and you’re not out any money. Barneys New York Customer Service: 1.888.222.7639

Bloomingdale’s allows customers to return beauty items without a time restriction. Although The Makeup Examiner wouldn’t recommend that you attempt to return a lipstick that you bought over a year ago. Bloomingdale’s Customer Service: 1.800.777.0000

Bon-Ton does not accept returns for opened beauty products. Even their return policy for other items is, uh, not exactly customer friendly. Oh, and actually finding Bon-Ton’s customer service number was also a bit of a challenge to find! Bon-Ton Stores Customer Service: 1.800.233.7626

MAC customers can simply return the unused portion and will be fully refunded for their purchase. Empty containers cannot be excepted for refund and that’s fairly ridiculous for one to attempt. MAC Customer Service: 1.800.866.6464

Macy's strives for customer satisfaction and has topnotch service. The store accepts returns and exchanges at any time after purchase. Macy’s Customer Service: 1.800.289.6229

NARS customers may return items for a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase, but you pay the return shipping. NARS Customer Service: 1.888.788.6277

Nordstrom seems to have one of the best return policies. “Don't love it? Don't worry—returns and exchanges are easy. Simply send your item back or bring it to a store near you.” Nordstrom Customer Service: 1.888.282.6060

Neiman Marcus/Bergdorf Goodman have clearly stated return policies regarding beauty products. “All fragrance and cosmetics items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging for a credit/refund or exchange to be issued”. Neiman Marcus Customer Service: 1.888.888.4757 Bergdorf Goodman Customer Service: 1.888.774.2424

Saks Fifth Avenue was oodles of fun to try to decipher. “If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may exchange, replace, or credit your purchase when it is presented in saleable condition”. This little blurb prompted TME to call Saks Customer Service (1.877.551.7257) for clarification and they do not accept any opened beauty items.

Sephora has a topnotch return policy. “If you are not completely satisfied with a Sephora purchase for any reason, please return it for a full refund”. Sephora even pays return shipping and handling fees. Sephora Customer Service: 1.877.737.4672

Target’s return policy was a shock. Flat out, Target does not except beauty product returns. Target’s return policy, “Most unopened items in new condition returned within 90 days will receive a refund or exchange”. Target Customer Service: 1.800.591.3869

ULTA gives customers 60 days to return an item and accepts opened beauty products. The only downside is that you’re responsible for return shipping fees. ULTA Customer Service: 1.866.983.8582

Makeup Basics For Newbies

When first experimenting with makeup, it's best to keep it simple. A little mascara, eyeliner and pop of sheer lip color go a long way to subtly enhance your natural beauty, while maintaining that covetable fresh-faced, youthful glow.

  1. If you have any skin imperfections, lightly use a healing concealer like Boo-Boo Concealer
  2. If you’re opting to use blush, just a kiss of it will work perfectly
  3. Use an angled eye liner brush to apply a medium brown hued liner close to your lash line
  4. Apply a coat of dark brown mascara or opt for clear
  5. Apply a sheer lip color, like the ones in CoverGirl’s Smoochies collection, and your good to go!

Chic Makeup Look For College

From the classroom to study group to campus parties, you want to play up your features, and of course, be on trend. During the day, BB cream, mascara, blush and lip tint go a long way. To turn it up for night, experiment with defined cheekbones and trendy metallic shades.

  1. Touch up any complexion unevenness with concealer
  2. Put a stop to shine by applying a translucent powder
  3. Use a large round powder brush to add a touch of bronzer or blush to cheeks
  4. If you’re opting for bronzer, apply the bronzer just under your cheekbone
  5. Swipe blush just above the bronzer, using a formula with a slight shimmer to create the illusion of sky-high cheekbones
  6. Metallic eye shadows are a huge trend for fall, so transition into the season with a copper toned shadow swept across your lid
  7. Apply shadow to lids
  8. Then smudge in a darker brown shadow to your outer corner and creases to create a smokey effect and don’t forget to blend
  9. Finish this sultry eye look with smudged dark brown liner and two coats of mascara
  10. For this intense eyes look, stick to the “either or rule” and go with a muted lip

Flawless Face For Busy Moms

Getting the kids, and yourself, out the door on time can be challenging. But with the proper tools, hectic morning makeup application can be a breeze by laying out each beauty tool that you need, just as would your outfit. Follow this step-by-step for a professional and easy “get out the door” look.

  1. Use a foundation brush to apply a coat of your desired coverage over the entire face
  2. Multi-tasking products like a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream are great time savers to eliminate extra steps
  3. Fake a good night’s sleep by covering imperfections with a concealer brush
  4. Use the brush to pat concealer lightly onto any dark or discolored areas
  5. Then use a flat tipped buffing concealer brush to blend concealer into foundation
  6. Apply a translucent powder with a full headed powder brush and blend
  7. Apply a quick coat of mascara
  8. Now just swipe on some blush and lipstick and you’re ready to head out the door in pulled together perfection

Back-To-School Budget Beauty and Makeup Tips

Whether you’re headed back-to-school as a “seasoned” beautynista or are a B-I-T (Beautynista In Training), finding budget beauty products that actually work can be a real challenge. Furthermore, if you are a B-I-T, you may not have the knowledge that you need so as to not waste your money. Spending $3.99 on a product that doesn’t work is $3.99 that you’ve just wasted and that could have been put towards something that you really wanted. Over the past year, The Makeup Examiner has been fortunate to review several brands that are super budget-friendly and actually do what they’re supposed to do.

The first rule of makeup for B-I-T’s … less is more. If this is your first back-to-school year with makeup, you want to show everyone that you’ve matured, not that you went crazy with your mommy’s makeup kit. Let’s start at the very beginning, which is your skin. Before you put a single pigment anywhere on your face, you have to learn how to take care of your skin. Bonus: learning how to take care of your skin now will payoff for a lifetime and for seasoned beautynistas … if you don’t have a skin care regime it’s time to start one!

A great skin care regime is, well, a great thing. But The Makeup Examiner is acutely aware that not everyone is going to go through the entire process. For those of you that just can’t, or even for those that do but are occasionally lazy, Bioré Make-Up Removing Towelettes (30-count $7.99) effectively removes makeup and is oil-free. If you’re seeking a budget friendly, yet effective, skin care line, check out the Pond’s Luminous Clean. Luminous Clean Cream Cleanser ($7.50), Luminous Clean Daily Exfoliating Cleanser ($7.50), and Luminous Moisture Day Lotion with SPF 15 ($6.70). Back to Bioré, if you’re seeking acne prevention or treatment products The Makeup Examiner recommends Bioré Pore Unclogging Scrub ($5.47) or Bioré Acne Clearing Scrub ($5.47).

Now that we’ve gotten through some skin care advice, let’s move onto the fun stuff! To conceal or not to conceal … that is the question. For B-I-T’s, don't believe sales clerks who tell you that you absolutely must wear foundation. If you have gorgeous skin and chances are that you do, why cover it up? Opt for a light BB cream and this goes for seasoned beautynistas too. Although The Makeup Examiner is head-over-heels about Pond’s brand new Luminous Finish BB+ Cream ($9.99), the formula may be too much for B-I-T’s. An amazing budget friendly BB cream is Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Skin Perfector ($9.99), as it’s a lighter formula.

If you want to add a little kiss of blush, or really go for contouring, CoverGirl Clean Glow Blush ($6.94) is the way to go. CG’s Clean Glow Blush is a 3-in-1 multi-shade compact that will let you customize your color. And you can use just one color or all three. Moving onto the eyes, The Makeup Examiner discovered NYC New York Color Cosmetics and was blown away that this super budget friendly brand delivered products that are highly pigmented and work amazingly well.

NYC New York Color introduced several products earlier this year starting with HD Color Trio Eyeshadow ($2.99) offered in 12 different color palettes giving endless options to play. Next on the NYC Color list is Big Bold Curl Mascara ($4.99), which has a hydrating keratin-rich formula and offers those big, bold lashes that are so hot this season. For B-I-T’s, The Makeup Examiner recommends investing in an eyelash curler, and possibly forgoing mascara. Last, but so far from least, is Big Bold Plumping Lip Gloss ($3.99), available in 12 luscious shades NYC’s lip gloss offers both a mega shine and lip plumping for the perfect pout.

Wrapping up your back-to-school budget beauty bounty is Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics nail lacquers. The brand has twice collaborated with Julie G, first on the Julie G Nail Polish Collection ($3.99) and again on Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics Julie G Frosted Gum Drops line ($3.99). The Makeup Examiner as a quick little secret for grabbing more savings: Before you head to the store, check out a brand’s Facebook page, as they often post coupons. For example, Pond’s is currently offering an addition $2 coupon off of their BB cream. And hey, if you lovelies know of any great deals, share them in the comment section!
