Claire Danes and Gugu Mbatha-Raw At The Met Gala Get The Look

Claire Danes Cinderella Hair Get The Look:

  • Start with washing the hair using Infusium 23 Repair + Renew Shampoo, followed by treating the hair with Infusium 23 Repair + Renew Conditioner.
  • After towel drying, spray the Infusium 23 Repair + Renew Leave-In Treatment to protect from heat and styling, tame fly-aways and also get that undeniable shine!
  • Next, blow-dry the hair using the PRO Beauty Tools 1875W Ionic AC Motor and a round brush moving away from the face.
  • Use PRO Beauty Tools 1 ¼ Curling Iron just around the hairline to give hair beautiful glam curls. Then run fingers through the hair lightly to break it up.
  • Finally, pull hair back smoothly into a low ponytail. Twist the ponytail into a loose knot and secure with bobby pins for that final look.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, best known for her recent role in Concussion alongside actor, Will Smith, illuminated the red carpet at the most fashion forward event: Gugu blew us away in Gabriela Hearst with a Simple, Sexy Hair Knot styled by Schwarzkopf ULTIME celebrity hairstylist, Richard Collins.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw Get The Look:
  • Start by applying Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Satin Frizz Control Heat Protection Spray to damp hair and blow dry for from root to tip.
  • Schwarzkopf Styliste Ultime Satin Frizz Control Straightening Spray, 6.8 fl oz
  • Using 1 or 1 ½ inch flat iron, depending on hair type, straighten all sections of hair, applying pea size amounts of Schwarzkopf styliste ULTIME Amino-Q Hold Gel for any flyaways. Pull hair back and secure in a low ponytail.

2016 People’s Choice Awards Claire Danes and Lea Michele Get The Look

The 2016 Awards Season kicked off last night, Jan. 6 with the People’s Choice Awards and TME has the how-tos for two stunning stars. Straight from Celebrity Makeup Artist, Matin, we have PCA Winner Claire Danes’ look, as well as Lea Michele’s look created by Celebrity Stylist John D.

Claire Danes 2016 People’s Choice Awards Get The Look:

Skin Prep - To prep, I used Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster and Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum on face and neck to keep skin dewy.

Complexion - To create a smooth canvas, I applied Flawless Start Instant Perfecting Primer followed by Flawless Finish Sponge–On Cream Makeup in Vanilla to the her entire face, working outwards. Next, I dabbed a bit of Ceramide Cream Blush in Pink to the apples of your cheeks for a slight flush.

Eyes - For a subtle eye, I brushed Beautiful Color Eyeshadow Duo in Café Au Lait across the lid to the inner eye. I used Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Truffle along the lash line, instead of traditional eyeliner, to add warmth and definition. Next, I applied Beautiful Color Precision Glide Eyeliner in Black Velvet as dots between individual top lashes for a fuller lash look, and finish with Grand Entrance Mascara.

Lips - To complete Claire’s look, I prepped her lips with Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Lip Repair Balm and applied Beautiful Color Moisturizing Lipstick in Power Red, for a bold and beautiful pop of color.

Lea Michele 2016 People’s Choice Awards Get The Look:

This Hollywood sweetheart stunned on the red carpet last night before presenting at People’s Choice Awards. Celebrity Stylist John D. opted for a fun, textured knot to avoid upstaging her intricately beaded black Elie Saab cocktail dress.

“We wanted to stay away from overdoing this look, while keeping in mind the major storm that is currently covering Los Angeles, so we kept the overall vibe fresh and cool.” – John D.

Step 1: Prep clean, towel-dried hair by running a dollop TRESemmé Climate Control Mousse from roots to ends to add light hold and keep the elements out.

Step 2. Blow dry hair using a large round brush to help smooth lengths and give lift at the root.

Step 3. Gather hair at the back of the head and secure ponytail with an elastic, making sure that roots aren’t pulled back too tight. Then, split the ponytail into two sections and tie sections into loose knots. Wrap knots around ponytail to create an intricate bun and fasten all around with bobby pins.

Step 4. Finish the look by spraying TRESemmé Climate Control Hair Spray all over for a frizz-free, strong hold.

NARS and the Stars at the 2015 Golden Globes

NARS International Lead Makeup Stylist Uzo created the red carpet makeup look for Ava DuVernay at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. Beauty Inspiration: “The look was about a woman in a position of power. Ava’s statement-making makeup was kept soft and ethereal to balance her bold hairstyle and architectural Zac Posen gown. I created a velvety, smoky chocolate eye and soft neutral shades for her cheeks and lips.”

Key NARS products used:
  • All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (New for Spring 2015; for now try Sheer Matte Foundation)
  • Fez Shimmer Eyeshadow
  • Raquel Audacious Lipstick

NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Matin to create the red carpet makeup look for Claire Danes at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. Beauty Inspiration: “When I saw Claire’s hand-beaded Valentino gown, I was immediately struck with inspiration. We agreed that her eyes should be the focus so I matched her eyeshadow to the gorgeous peacock blue of her dress to create a brighter, edgier smoky look.”

Key NARS products used:
  • All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (New for Spring 2015; for now try Sheer Matte Foundation)
  • Fervor Dual-Intensity Blush (New for Spring 2015; for now try Unlawful and Taos Blush)

  • Kalisté Eyeliner Pencil

NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Fabiola to create the red carpet makeup look for Laura Carmichael at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. Beauty Inspiration: “Laura is wearing a vintage James Galanos gown; it’s a one-shoulder, black, floor length dress with a sequin starfish at her hip. Because the look was so vintage, we went with a smoky charcoal gray to play up her almond, doe-shape eyes and added a light blush and nude lip.”

  • All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (New for Spring 2015; for now try Sheer Matte Foundation)
  • Lysithea Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow

NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Tina Turnbow to create the red carpet makeup look for Taylor Schilling at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. Beauty Inspiration: “The inspiration for Taylor’s look was a younger, modern take on Grace Kelly. I wanted to play up her bone structure, her skin and her natural beauty so we went with a clean eye, bold brow and a crisp orange red lip to clash with the scarlet shade of her Ralph Lauren gown.”

Key NARS products used:
  • All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (New for Spring 2015; for now try Sheer Matte Foundation)
  • Porto Venere Eye Paint (New for Spring 2015; for now try Abyssinia Matte Eyeshadow)
