After digging out of yet another snowfall, we are
officially so over WINTER 2015! And speaking of “officially,” Spring 2015
begins tomorrow, March 20th … of course you’d never know it with today’s
weather! Chapped lips, watering eyes, skin that feels like a crocodile … enough
already! We are completely ready to leave the winter behind, but the same
cannot be said for our lips, nails, skin … you get the picture. So kicking into
high-gear Team TME went on an expedition to find the go-to, must-have beauty
products that will get you ready for the warmer weather ahead … and do so in
style.
Hair Care:
Rejuvenating our locks after the cold and brutal winter, and managing our hair,
can be quite the endeavor. We found Davines’ MOMO collection and Redken’s Frizz
to be the perfect products for getting our hair back into shape and for
maintaining it throughout the often frizz producing weather of Spring and
Summer.

- Davines MOMO Shampoo ($25) and
Conditioner ($29) are ideal for dry or dehydrated hair. Formulated with
Cartucciaru Melon from Paceco, the collection leaves hair smelling delicious
and offers up amazing hydration without weighing hair down. Major bonus –
Davines is a cruelty free, organic and sustainable brand that belongs to 1% Forthe Planet!
- To maintain
those lovely locks, Redken Frizz Dismiss collection offers the first-ever Frizz
Protection Factor (FPF) with 4 levels of smoothing and humidity protection for
all hair types -- from fine to coarse. Frizz Dismiss offers heat and humidity
protection with a sulfate-free, sodium chloride-free cleansing system. The
Redken Frizz Dismiss collection ranges from $18-$25 and includes all of the
haircare items that you will need to weather the weather!
Skin Care: Look
… we all know that your skin is nowhere near ready for those beautiful shoulder-to-pins revealing ensembles.

- For an all over body
rejuvenation, we pick Daily Concepts MY Zen Konjac Sponge ($18), which is 100%
natural and comes in three selections -- Charcoal, Pure and Turmeric, and Daily Concepts is a vegan brand! Use your new Daily Concepts Sponge with Sebamed’s
Spa Shower ($14.95) for a relaxing, skin-loving shower experience. Sebamed Spa
Shower is soap and alkali-free, perfect for sensitive skin, and smells
absolutely delicious.
- Out of the
shower, our pick is L’Occitane’s NEW Almond Velvet Youthful Body Serum ($52)
and Almond Velvet Youthful Body Balm ($60). These ultra-concentrated formulas
combine a powerful complex of natural almond ingredients infused with 2%
Vitamin C, helping to get your winter skin ready for a sexy spring!
- Of course you
can’t ignore your face! For a relatively instant Spring prep, Green Apple Peel
Nightly Brightening Pads ($45) by Juice Beauty smooth and tone while reducing
the appearance of dark spots. Apple Peel Nightly Brightening Pads are
eco-friendly and made of bamboo, which are saturated with antioxidant-rich
organic fruit acids to brighten your skin. L’Occitane’s Divine Immortelle 28Day Renewal Program ($130) is a real “must-have” product to help rejuvenate
winter skin and prepare for spring. This luxurious skincare treatment adapts to
the skin’s natural renewal cycle to help regenerate tired, over-worked skin!
Now that you
have your hair, body, and face all prepped you need the hot products for Spring
2015! Oh, and these will take you through Summer 2015 too!
Cosmetics: Out
with old, in with the new and we’ve found a few new products that you should
check out this season. Speaking of out with the old, now is a perfect time to
discard that old makeup!

- NARS Pure
Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($43 - available in 11 shades
and travel size) is an oil-free formula that provides buildable coverage with
the sun protection you need.
- Gabriel Cosmetics ZuZu Luxe La
Sirena Palette ($45) is a fantasy palette of ocean blues and playful pinks
creating an ethereal look perfect for this season. Also from Gabriel Cosmetics
is The Beach Beauty Collection, which Team TME is calling a total must-have for
Spring/Summer 2015! The Beach Beauty Palette ($27.50) is a collection of four
ultra-wearable earth tone eye shadows featuring Pantone’s Color of the Year,
Marsala! Multi Pot in Conch ($18.35 – Limited Edition) can be used on eyes,
lips, and cheeks. Bonus: Gabriel Cosmetics is a cruelty-free brand!
- Stila Cosmetics, another
cruelty-free brand, has lunched two amazing brow products! Courtesy of “it”
girl Cara Delevingne, “boy brows” are in. But, you gotta keep ‘em tame and
pretty. Stila Stay All Day Brow Gel ($34) comes in five shades and a dual-ended
brush that lets you contour and define your brows. If you’re more of a pencil
person, the Stay All Day Brow Pencil ($21) has a micro-point for a precise
application.
- For a super
pretty pout, we found a super interesting brand … Vintage by Jessica
Liebeskind. Velvet Lip Crayon in Vintage Rose ($22 – includes sharpener) is a
perfect hue for spring. This matte color can be worn alone or punched up with
Jessica’s Sparkling Lipgloss ($21). Vintage Sparkling Lipgloss in Papaya gives
lips a beautiful glittery glow in a super on-trend hue.
Nails: No look is complete
without a little lacquer on your paws. Meow!
- Team TME looked at a lot of
lacquer for our Spring 2015 Must Haves. When we found Londontown, we stopped
looking. After all, when you find a brand so deliciously good why bother
looking anywhere else? The Londontown Nail Lakur Spring 2015 Collection ($16 –
each), which includes eight cream colors and four matching glitters, offers
sophisticated hues that are on-trend, luxurious, highly pigmented and 5-free!
