INSPIRATION: “Nicki was giving major Barbie vibes in her
pink spandex two piece. We wanted to make a statement with her stick straight
long beautiful locks.” -Tokyo Stylez
TIPS/TECHNIQUE:
1. To start, I prepped Nicki’s hair with the ghd advanced split
end therapy ($28). I like to start with this cream because it replenishes and
restores overworked strands and brings damaged ends back to life.
2. I then
massaged in the ghd heat protectant spray ($22) and about five pumps of the ghd
straight & tame cream ($24) from roots to tip to create a sleek look.
3. I blew out her strands with the ghd air hairdryer ($199)
and then I used the ghd tail comb ($22) to create a clean middle part.
4. I worked
my way throughout her hair using the ghd platinum™ styler ($249) and ghd oval
dressing brush ($40) to straighten ½ inch horizontal sections.
5. To complete the look, I sprayed the ghd narrow dressing
brush ($40) with hairspray and brushed through her stands, from root to tip to
create a super sleek look.
