Fall Favorites That You Have To Try

Wow, did fall arrive today or what? It's a new season and so many new beauty products to try and to love! We've sorted through quite a few to find our favorites and hopefully yours!

evolis Professional Style & Treat Dry Shampoo ($30) Created with 100% botanical actives to both style your hair and treat your scalp. This shampoo instantly absorbs excess oil while delivering their patented blend of FGF5 inhibitors. By blocking FGF5, the negative effects can be reversed, resulting in the restoration of hair density, promotion of new growth and the preservation of existing hair strands.  Ideal for all hair types, Style +Treat Dry Shampoo revives your hair style while lifting your roots for incredible volume and fullness.

Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum ($88) Vitamin C isn't new, but it definitely is having a strong resurgence in popularity. The Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum is an oil and fragrance-free serum that packs a whopping 20 percent concentration of vitamin C that deliver both instant and long-term results. A 10 percent concentration of AHAs joins the mix -- all working together to leave your skin firmer, smoother, and noticeably more glowy.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream ($30) This best-selling cream is getting a revamp, now reformulated to be entirely paraben-free. But don't worry, you won't be able to tell that your beloved moisturizer has changed -- it took Kiehl's scientists five years and more than 114 different versions to come up with this final formula that works!

Laura Mercier Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation ($48 - available in 30 shades) A pearl extract in this medium-to-full coverage base helps reflect light to give your skin an instant glow, regardless of whether you're standing in front of a ring light or sitting under yellow-y office bulbs. The lightweight, moisturizing formula promises to stay put for up to 15 hours, keeping your skin looking flawless and feeling hydrated.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Barriair Cream ($30) As a general rule, creams promising to restore and calm your skin are usually, well, super thick and heavy. Not this newbie, which is packed with hard-working, skin-coddling ingredients, but it has an airy, whipped texture that feels more like a gel moisturizer than a heavy-hitting hydrator. There's hyaluronic acid to moisturize the skin, colloidal oatmeal to soothe it, and ceramides and linoleic acid to help strengthen the skin barrier.

Kopari Coconut Detox Mask ($38) We think of this mask as a juice cleanse for our skin! Bentonite and kaolin clays go to town pulling impurities out of your pores, while coconut oil hydrates, and probiotics help keep the top layer of skin feeling balanced and looking fresh.

Giorgio Armani Beauty Power Fabric Foundation Balm ($64) A blend of waxes and oils gives this foundation formula its initial balm-like consistency, which, when smoothed over skin, transforms into a cream, and later, a powder. Made with 15 percent pigments, it packs a hefty punch of complete coverage and has a perfectly matte finish despite its creamy consistency.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer ($28 available in 22 shades) The latest addition to the brand's best-selling Ultra HD line, this cover-up doesn't need to be set with powder, thanks to the unique amino-acid coated pigments that immediately conform to your skin, staying put for up to 12 hours without caking or creasing.

Maybelline New York Snapscara ($6) Maybelline knows a thing or two about mascara, and their newest Snapscara formula is one of their best yet. The thin, flexible pigment tints your lashes and leaves them looking super glossy, but also adds a little thickness and lots of length.

Dior Lip Glow To The Max ($34) Dior Lip Glow To The Max is the same beloved Lip Glow, now with a yummy new look and a touch more pigment. In this new formula, the sheer, tinted balm is spiked with pigment — those are the candy-colored swirls you see in the bullet — to both hydrate your lips and leave them with a bit more of a tint than the original formula does. Take your pick from seven different shades, five with a dewy finish and two that leave behind a holographic sheen.

Tenoverten Rose Polish Remover ($14) What you won't find in this polish remover: acetone, parabens, or any unpleasant odors. What you will find: vitamin E, horsetail leaf extract, and aloe to help hydrate and strengthen your nails. Green beauty lovers should add this to their product stash, stat.

Best Hair Products for Warm Weather Weekends

You know, this crew has been one or two places in their time and learned a thing or two about warm weather hair care. In the simplest of terms -- great hair during the warm and humid summer weather comes down to using the right products and tools for the job. It's a fact that our hair has completely different needs from season to season, so this season we're sharing a few of our fab finds for your fab summertime hair! Whether you're cruising to the beach or partying in the city we've got you covered.

Hot Summer In The City - There's just something about summer nights in the city. Everything and everyone just seems more alive -- of course it doesn't matter if you're hanging at that little Salsa club off Chestnut in Philly or bar hopping in Mykonos, all cities seem to offer up hair hating conditions. We tested ECRU New York Acacia Protein BB Cream and found that it's an amazing beauty balm for hair. This multi-purpose, styling and conditioning cream is light and versatile. And it is an absolute winner for the humidity and pollutants of the city. It protects and styles all in one.

Lake Side - Over the past few years, we've discovered a real love for lake life. It's just such a chill vibe with the bonus of water. Oh but that water can still distress your tresses. A day on the water and you can definitely end up with hair that hates you. After a day at the lake, a great product to rejuvenate you hair is Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt. Made of sea salt and sweet almond oil, it clears up itchy, flaky scalps, combats greasy roots, and helps your style to last longer. So, you can see why we love it.

A Day At The Beach - or a weekend. Oh how we love the beach and oh how we hate what the sun and sand can do to our 'do. Our answer is two-fold for this. The ocean and ocean air can wreak havoc on your hair so opt for a moisture replenishing mask like évolisProfessional REVERSE Treatment Mask. This mask intensely conditions strands and enriches hair with a boost of antioxidants, restoring life to your hair.

Beachy Styling - The beach weekend vibe tends to be pretty chill and who wants to be the person who spends hours to get the perfect coif at the beach? Instead, embrace your hair's natural texture with Davine’s Sea Salt Spray. A few spritzes in your just-washed strands, and you've got gorgeous, perfectly-tousled sexy waves..

Home Is Where The Heart Is - well most of the time. We digress. No matter where you're hanging throughout the warm weather season, eventually you will need to blow-dry those locks. We have found THE tool that will leave your hair completely frizz free... By Gina's ExcelInfrared Blow Dryer! This blow dryer offers up infrared Smart technology, using steam heat coupled with ions. This processes limits heat exposure, which in turn limits frizz and infuses each strand with moisture to recondition hair. And that all equals beautiful tresses.

Happy traveling even if it's just to your backyard!

Recovery For Your Beauty Routine

Woohoo it's going to be 50 degrees today, breakout that bikini baby! Hmmm... thinking about that for a moment, you may want to hold off and take care of your skin. After the arctic blast from the polar vortex, our hair and skin might be left a little worse for the wear. But we have some recovery products that will have your skin and hair looking absolutely stunning.

BANISH THE HAT HAIR: As you probably quickly realized last week, suffering in the name of good hair is just not worth it. After donning a beanie and dealing with flat, hat hair you can give those locks a makeover and be prepared for the next polar vortex! We have come to swear by the VOLOOM Volumizing Iron ($129.99). Hats are no match for the damage-free, locked-in volume you can achieve. The secret is in the patented plates – which gently build lasting structure into the under-layers of the hair, lifting the top layers up and away from the scalp. In only a few minutes (and without damage) hair is volumized and ready to brave the cold... or whatever life swings your way.

TLC, tender loving conditioner: You’ve battled hat hair, but all that cold air and dry heat has done major damage to your locks. Treat it to a little TLC, without any of the hassle. Because The évolis Professional Treatment Mask ($40) dries to a candy like hard shell when applied to dry hair, you can leave it on overnight without fear of it ruining your silk pillowcase. When you wake up, rinse out for hair that is smooth as silk with improved texture, manageability and shine thanks to ingredients like Baobab, Rosa Multiflora and Sanguidorba Officinalis.
